Never Give Up!!

Lets be honest.  When you’re starting up at the gym, or even take your once-a-week day off, it can sometimes or a lot of times be hard to get back into it.  I wont lie, i’ve been going heavily steady since July 30th, 2014 and I have my good weeks and my bad.  The weeks where I feel motivated and the weeks I feel like crap and don’t want to go.  But I never go and regret going.  The reward for going is worth so much more than my personal feelings.  From all of the endorphin rushes it lightens my mood and makes me feel better all around.  So forget those damn feelings you may have, the lack of motivation, your sadness, whatever you’re going through, ignore it and GO.  Get your booty moving!
All those months and months of hard work you’ve put into your body, you can lose over half of that in 2 weeks! TWO WEEKS!  Now does that sound worth it to you? NO.  Keep at it, keep going.  If you get lazy and stop trying, your body isn’t going to be forgiving.  You’re just going to hate yourself for giving up on the progress you’ve worked so hard for, and so long.  You’ll be back at square one and kicking yourself for it.
Over the course of these months i’ve seen regulars come and go.  Give up, take a long break, then come back only to start all over again.  That isn’t how you get progress.  All those peoples bodies that you envy over on social media, they didn’t get that in weeks, or months, or a year.  Sure you can make quite a bit of progress in a year but the top tier shape takes years, especially you men that want to be like the muscular cover-models.  Anyone that tries to tell you otherwise is just trying to make a buck off of their ebooks or whatever their plan is that they make money off of.  Don’t be fooled, there are no short cuts.  Only HARD WORK!
The sooner you come to terms with this being an entire lifestyle change, the sooner you’ll come to terms with accepting this.  It’s not a temporary thing, it’s a life thing.

    Yes it definitely is very hard to get back into it once you have stopped for a while. For the longest time I was very inconsistent, but now that i am going regularly i think i’m addicted. I’m addicted to the results! If you get a chance, come check out my fitness and fashion blog as well!
